I’ve gotten a few requests on sharing my VMware View Lab Setup Guides, so here goes. These guides are step-by-step guides going through all you need to get a lab environment of VMware View up and running.
The lab environment that the lab guides show consists of one ESXi-server, one vCenter Server and one VMware View Server. And of course a few virtual desktops 🙂
This lab environment can easily be expanded into a larger environment if needed, for instance for a larger test or proof of concept.
To not make these posts full of just screenshots I’ve created PDFs of the lab guides for your perusal and attached them to each post.
These first modules, 1 and 2, involves gathering all prerequisites needed for the installation and then goes on to the installation of VMware View Server.
Here are the first guides to get you going:
Training module 1 – Collecting all prerequisites
Training module 2 – Installation of VMware View
Have fun, and please comment if you find it valuable or if you see anything wrong!
