Hi guys, great site, I was wondering have you had time to look at VMware’s vCloud Director 5.1?
Thanks
Ike
I really like the image in your Puppet+Razor blogposts, is it okay to use it in a presentation? Thanks…
I’ve created it from pictures I found on the web, so I do not own it or can say anything if you want to use it. Rather, I’d be glad if you’d use it 🙂 May I only ask that you link to my blog in your presentation?
Let me know if you need help with a presentation for your colleagues/customers/partners.
I saw part 3 of the blog about automated lighttpd installation. We’re writing a PHP app that will run on the same server as the system it connects to (an ERP system), and we can’t count on a web server being present on that server. So we’d like to have the user download and install the entire lighttpd, PHP, mySQL environment with as little tending or input as possible. I imagine some input would be needed. Is this something that sounds reasonable to create? And do you know of anyone who would be able to provide this or help create it?
I saw part 3 of the blog about automated lighttpd installation. Great article. We’re writing a PHP app that will run on the same server as the system it connects to (an ERP system), and we can’t count on a web server being present on that server. So we’d like to have the user download and install the entire lighttpd, PHP, mySQL environment with as little tending or input as possible. This would be a business office worker, most likely. I imagine some input would be needed, but we would like the requirements on the person downloading and installing to be very minimal. Is this automated installation something that sounds reasonable or possible to create? And do you know of anyone who would be available to provide this or help create it? Thanks!

Hi! The code is since long gone, but reach out to @swevm on Twitter and ask him!
